It is partially about the fact that the money could go elsewhere. However, it is also partially about who we are as people. I love these cars and believe it is manageable so long as the time and money is managed wisely. My wife, on the other hand, feels there is no reason for me to have such an expensive play thing that has a high potential for breaking. She also sees it as unfair that I can have such an expensive toy when there is no way We could ever afford her to have such an expensive hobby as well. Then again, she would rather spend her time and money on family and doesn't care about material objects. Because of this mindset, she doesn't understand the hobby of such an expensive car. I feel she needs an outlet and she feels I need to lose mine (that she views as nothing more than prideful temptation). All that to say that I don't think things would be any different if the finances were different. I think things will be okay to get a new Z when the kids are older but, until then, she will always view it as being an unfair and expensive hobby that just shouldn't belong to a true family man. I disagree but, then again, I'm wired differently from her.
----------------------------------------------------- Never Play Leapfrog With A Unicorn!!! Do yourself a favor and just worry about your own car. I don't see what everyone is so worried about anyway. If someone else wants to perform a modification that you believe will destroy the value, cheapen the Z32 or whatever you can't sit on your hands about, wouldn't that make your tastefully-modified, white bread Z32 more rare and valuable? -- BradZ (FL) on December 23, 2007 at 12:19 PM The unicorn gets its revenge... -- Scotts94z32 on September 19, 2006 at 11:12 AM CLICK FOR DETAILS ABOUT BUYING A ZAMA POSTER!!!!
